What is Ebis
What is Ebis
Ebis stands for Electronic Concrete Monitoring System(Elektronik Beton İzleme Sistemi). It is a control system that keeps the quality of the concrete produced with the Ebis system under control and enables the audits to be reported electronically. The services provided by the Ebis system are listed by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in the following items.

These;
  • All of the UHF RFID tags to be used during the identification of concrete samples will be provided through the Defense Industry Presidency (Aselsannet) during the service period.
  • RFID hand terminals to be used by laboratory companies to be used in the process of taking concrete samples and RFID readers on the crushing device and crushing device will be supplied by the Defense Industry Presidency (Aselsannet).
  • A call center service will be provided in order to enable laboratories to provide all kinds of questions, opinions and information requests regarding EBİS and fault transfer.
  • A training will be given to the concrete monitoring system auditors, to authorized building inspection and laboratory companies, to introduce the system.
  • When necessary, support will be provided for Maintenance, Improvement and Development of Building Control System Application software.

The Communiqué on Taking Sampling, Experiments, Monitoring and Inspection of Fresh Concrete Belonging to the Buildings Inspected within the Scope of the Law No. 4708 on Building Inspection, published in the Official Gazette No. 30629 dated December 18, 2018, entered into force on December 25, 2018.

Taking Concrete Sampling, Breaking the Taken Samples,
Concrete Breaking Device and Concrete Label
The process for taking concrete samples, conducting and reporting tests;

    1. The concrete casting is notified to the relevant laboratory at least one day before by the relevant building inspection institution.
    2. A concrete label is placed in each fresh concrete sample taken in accordance with the relevant standard.
    3. The information about the structure and the concrete poured in the construction site are entered into the EBİS mobile software by the laboratory personnel. The samples with concrete labels are recorded by reading them through the hand terminal and the sampling process is completed by confirming the location of the structure. Concrete labeled samples taken in accordance with the relevant standard during concrete casting are recorded on EBİS mobile software.
    4. During the concrete casting, the relevant inspector is present at the construction site and the samples are taken by the laboratory personnel who will conduct the experiment in the presence of the relevant inspection staff. Approval process is made by the relevant supervisor at the construction site, indicating that the concrete pouring and sampling took place in his presence over the EBİS mobile software.
    5. During the removal of the concrete-labeled samples, which are kept safely in the construction site in accordance with the relevant standard, from the construction site, laboratory personnel are scanned by hand terminal and the construction site exit process is performed on the EBİS mobile software.
    6. The samples brought to the laboratory and / or the sample collection station by the laboratory personnel are read through the EBİS mobile software with a hand terminal before being cured.
    7. The samples are tested in the concrete crushing device in the laboratory at the time specified in the relevant standard, and the test report is approved by the relevant user name and password through the EBİS central monitoring software.
    8. If the concrete labels in the samples taken by the laboratory are damaged for any reason, the institution from which EBİS services are obtained is informed. This situation is recorded by the authority of the institution where EBİS services are obtained and the laboratory inspector, and the sample of the damaged label is broken and reported.

QR CODE CONTENT CODING

The encoding of the content will be made in accordance with the following definitions and the Group Separator character (ASCII 29) will be used as the field separator between each field. Each field will be given in the relevant order according to the defined sequence number, if there is no value for the relevant field, the field value will be left blank and if there is a subsequent field, the other field information will be written after the second group separator character. In the first version of the content layout, there are a total of 17 fields and it requires a total of 16 group separators.

EBIS Identifier and Content Format Version
Row Number: 1
The letter "E" will be used as the EBIS Identifier.
"1" will be used for the first version as version information.
Example: E1

Despatch Serial Number
Row Number: 2
It is the serial and sequence number that the manufacturer printed on the waybill.
A field of 10 numerical characters is provided.
Example: "AB12345678"

Manufacturer Company Tax Number
Row Number: 3
It is the tax number of the Concrete Producer.
A 10 character numerical field is provided.
Example: "0123456789"

 Delivery Date and Time
Row Number 4
It is the date the concrete is shipped.
Data in minute resolution is expected.
The data must be entered in the order YYYYMMGSSDD.
YYYY: Four-digit year (such as 2019, 2020)
AA: the month with two digits (01.02 ... 12)
DD: day with two digits (01,02,… 30)
SS: hour in a 24-hour order with two digits (00,01,02, .. 22,23)
DD: minutes with two digits (00.01,… .58.59)
A 10-character space is reserved for this field.

 Amount of Concrete
Row Number: 5
Represents the vehicle's concrete load in m3 and the total daily concrete load ordered for the respective construction.
This area has been envisaged to be alphanumeric and the total daily concrete load ordered for the construction of the concrete mixer related to the concrete load, with a "/" (division) sign between them.
Decimal expressions will not be accepted in this field, the closest integer will be used.
Example: 12/60

Concrete Strength Class
Row Number: 6
